Aceh Barat Disbunak Holds Training to Strengthen Rubber and Palm Oil Farmers’ Capacity

PALMOILMAGAZINE, MEULABOH – The Plantation and Livestock Office (Disbunak) of Aceh Barat is stepping up efforts to improve farmers’ capacity and boost the productivity of the region’s key commodities. Through its Division of Extension, Processing, and Marketing, the office organized a training program for rubber and palm oil farmers.

The two-day program, held at the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) in Bubon Subdistrict on September 24–25, 2025, brought together 100 participants from six subdistricts across Aceh Barat.

To strengthen farmers’ knowledge, Disbunnak invited experts from PT Sapta Jaya Sentosa Abadi and PT ASN to deliver materials covering cultivation techniques, crop maintenance, and sustainable farm management practices.

Faizal, SP, Head of Disbunnak Aceh Barat, through the Head of Extension, Processing, and Marketing, Munadi, SP, explained that the training was designed to provide farmers with practical knowledge and new skills. “We hope the lessons learned can be applied directly in the field, leading to higher productivity in rubber and palm oil.
