PALMOILMAGAZINE, PONTIANAK – The fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price for oil palm in West Kalimantan (Kalbar) recorded a slight decline in Period I–October 2025, which covers payments for October 1–7, 2025. Based on the results of the Provincial FFB Price Determination Team meeting, the price for 10–20-year-old palms decreased by IDR25.9 per kilogram to IDR3,442.62/kg.

Meanwhile, the crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at IDR14,179.97/kg, palm kernel (PK) at IDR13,656.11/kg, and the K index at 92.06%.

  • Age 3 years: IDR2,578.52/kg
  • Age 4 years: IDR2,750.49/kg
  • Age 5 years: IDR2,933.98/kg
  • Age 6 years: IDR3,026.04/kg
  • Age 7 years: IDR3,137.34/kg
  • Age 8 years: IDR3,232.49/kg
  • Age 9 years: IDR3,284.65/kg
  • Age 10–20 years: IDR3,442.62/kg
  • Age 21 years: IDR3,386.29/kg
  • Age 22 years: IDR3,371.88/kg
  • Age 23 years: IDR3,294.86/kg
  • Age 24 years: IDR3,189.13/kg
  • Age 25 years: IDR3,089.91/kg

The minor price correction reflects a short-term adjustment in the regional palm oil market, following recent fluctuations in global CPO trading. Despite the decline, market fundamentals in West Kalimantan remain relatively stable, supported by steady demand and ongoing productivity improvements among local growers. (P3)
