PALMOILMAGAZINE, PEKANBARU – The fresh fruit bunch (FFB) price for independent oil palm smallholders in Riau Province recorded a slight decline during the period of October 8–14, 2025. According to the Riau Independent Smallholder FFB Price Determination Team’s meeting results, as stated in Decree No. 36, the price for nine-year-old palms dropped by Rp1.26 per kilogram to Rp3,656.20/kg.
For derivative commodities, the crude palm oil (CPO) price was set at Rp14,630.25/kg, while palm kernel (PK) stood at Rp14,170.00/kg. Meanwhile, palm shell was valued at Rp23.06/kg, with a K index of 92.83%.
Based on data from the Riau Provincial Plantation Agency obtained by beige-heron-208544.hostingersite.com, the following are the detailed independent smallholder FFB prices for the October 8–14, 2025 period:
- Age 3 years: Rp2,833.83/kg
- Age 4 years: Rp3,158.70/kg
- Age 5 years: Rp3,387.91/kg
- Age 6 years: Rp3,517.86/kg
- Age 7 years: Rp3,597.39/kg
- Age 8 years: Rp3,640.72/kg
- Age 9 years: Rp3,656.20/kg
- Age 10–20 years: Rp3,619.19/kg
- Age 21 years: Rp3,559.27/kg
- Age 22 years: Rp3,489.96/kg
- Age 23 years: Rp3,411.15/kg
- Age 24 years: Rp3,351.40/kg
- Age 25 years: Rp3,302.47/kg.
The minor decrease in independent smallholder FFB prices indicates that the market remains relatively stable, despite ongoing fluctuations in global CPO prices. Regional authorities continue to coordinate with relevant stakeholders to maintain fair pricing and support sustainable income for Riau’s independent palm oil farmers.
